The Squiggle Bench

This funky bench is made of solid walnut and ash. The squiggle consists of 15 L-shaped layers of walnut laminated together to create faux box joint at the corner. The squiggle was routed using a template and flush trim bit. The base is made of 33 individual ash blocks glued together to create solid footing for the squiggle to sit on. The two parts are attached with dowels. Surprisingly, the squiggle is pretty comfortable to sit on.
